The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) recently launched the "Get Vaccinated. Get Winter Strong." campaign to encourage eligible people to get flu and COVID-19 vaccinations ahead of winter. The campaign aims to protect high-risk groups, such as the elderly, those with chronic health conditions, pregnant women, and young children, as cases of flu and COVID-19 tend to surge during colder months.

Stoptober - Launched in 2012 by Public Health England, Stoptober is an annual public health campaign designed to encourage smokers to quit for the month of October. It helped improve public health by reducing incidence of linked conditions such as type 2 diabetes and obesity. It also raised public awareness of the negative health impacts high sugar consumption can have. The increase in revenue from the tax is put back into public services such as health services, providing bettering quality of care.
